Tia Mowry Will Not Return On ‘The Game’ Reboot and Addresses ‘Sister, Sister’ Reboot Rumors

Tia Mowry confirms in a 15-second TikTok video that she will not be returning on the reboot of The Game

Mowry played Melanie Barnett aka Med-School in the 2006 drama series which lasted until 2015. 

Paramount recently announced a 10-episode reboot but the veteran actress will not be apart of it despite being a fan-favorite. Wendy Raquel Robinson who played Tasha Mack, and Hosea Chanchez, who played Malik Wright, will be returning.

Elsewhere in the TikTok video, Tia shut down speculations of a Sister, Sister reboot.  

The sitcom ran from 1994-1999 and starred Tia and her sister, Tamera Mowry who were adopted and separated at birth but met at a mall. 

The video got 1.1 million likes and over 11,000 comments expressing disappointment, but you’ll still get to see more of Tia Mowry.

She posted a picture with her Seventeen Again cast mate, Mark Taylor. “Talk about a #tbt! Who remembers ’17 again? ‘We are working together again on a movie for @lifetimetv!I I think @therealmarktaylor7 must have put a hand on that magic soap!” she continued. “This guy doesn’t get old!”

Aside from still securing acting gigs, Tia shares two beautiful children with her husband, Cory Hardrict. She recently shared a sneak peek of some recipes for her new cookbook!
