Pusha T took to Instagram last night to announce the birth of his son, Nigel Brixx Thornton, who was born on June 11. His wife, the actress Virginia Williams, also shared a picture of their newborn baby.
Pusha announced Williams’ pregnancy back in December. Rather than posting typical balloon celebration pictures, Pusha freestyled about it over Kanye West‘s Jesus Is King track, ”Follow God.”
Pusha recently revealed that he’d been using the quarantine period to work on three new projects. “I’m working on that right now, actually,” he said during an AMA with fans via Discord. “I’m actually working on three projects right now. So, you know, with everything that’s going on in the world right now, of course, we’re not all together. But I’m well in on my next project.”
Later in the AMA, he revealed that one of the projects was with Tyler, the Creator. “I make him go straight hip-hop, like, full-fledged. It’s full ignorance… I don’t wanna experiment.” Pusha explained it’s all about crafting “the filthiest of hip-hop.” Watch the full discussion here.
