During this old clip that recently resurfaced from footage from VH1’s show ‘Signed’, Rick Ross reveals he paid a little extra attention to contestant Just Brittany. Fans have been upset with the mogul after they felt the other singers were more qualified. Accusations of colorism spawned conversations across social media.
The show is supposed to find aspiring hip-hop and R&B artists to collaborate with industry moguls in hopes of getting a record deal. Rick Ross, The Dream and Lenny S gather the contestants in Atlanta for auditions, workshops, and mentorship sessions with the moguls. There were so many talented artists on the show there fighting to win in hopes of getting a record deal.
In this clip, Rick Ross strokes Just Brittany’s hair, pulls her close by the waist and lightly kisses her on the cheek admitting to flirting with her. He then discussed possibly making her the first female artist on MMG.
