Arc’teryx’s First-Ever Print Is a Very Arc’teryx Take on Camo

Arc’teryx released a new Fall/Winter 2024 collection, which includes the Canadian brand’s first print in its freeride collection. The name of this fine pattern? “Grottoflage.”

Arc’teryx’s Grottoflage is the label’s take on traditional camouflage patterns. And while camouflage is usually thought of as “invisible,” Arc’teryx’s Grottoflage is anything but. The print certainly stands out against the powdery white slopes.

Arc’teryx’s Grottoflage, which is inspired by the brand’s Grotto Toque beanie, covers nine men’s and women’s pieces (someone call Frank Ocean). Specifically, Arc’teryx pieces like the Sentinel jacket, Sabre pants, Sabre jacket, and Rho base layers get the Grottoflage treatment.

Additionally, Arc’teryx is partnering with Atomic, a fellow outdoor brand, to create a limited-edition ski coat and pants adorned with the new Grottoflage pattern.

Arc’teryx’s spin on camouflage couldn’t have come at a more ideal time for those looking to test fashion’s latest crazes. The camo print has been on the rise lately, thanks to tastemakers and labels like 424 and Balenciaga.

Arc’teryx is now bringing the famous pattern to the slopes — with a twist, of course.

Whether taking Arc’teryx’s Grottoflage pieces to the great outdoors or the streets for a coffee, you’ll look good either way.
