‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ Sets Streaming Date After Dominating Early Summer Film Schedule

Looks like Will Smith is doing just fine these days, that’s because he and Martin Lawrence’s summer blockbuster, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” is about to hit digital streaming platforms in no time. 

ICYMI, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is the fourth high octane installment in the action-comedy film franchise that began with the smash hit “Bad Boys” in 1995, followed by “Bad Boys II” in 2003 and “Bad Boys for Life” in 2020.

Have to point out that the success of “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” marked a significant comeback for Smith, who unless you been under a rock, had faced major backlash in Hollywood after slapping presenter Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

Bad Boys 4, as it’s commonly referred to, premiered in theaters worldwide on June 7, reversed his fortunes.

Get this, according to When to Stream, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” will be available for digital streaming via premium video on demand (PVOD) starting July 23. 

While this streaming tracker is generally reliable with release dates, it noted that Sony Pictures Entertainment, the film’s distributor, has not confirmed this date, so it may be subject to change.

If familiar, with most PVOD releases, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” will be available for purchase or rent on platforms such as Prime Video, AppleTV+, and VUDU. The film is listed for pre-order at $24.99, which is a typical price for digital purchases.

When it comes to the box office performance of the latest Bad Boys, box office tracker The Numbers, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” has grossed $184.8 million domestically and $193.1 million internationally, totaling $377.9 million worldwide to date. The film had a production budget of $100 million, not including marketing costs.
