Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment, is under federal criminal investigation. Earlier this year, Homeland Security agents raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami. Now, insiders have confirmed that federal authorities in the Southern District of New York have notified Combs’ legal team about the ongoing investigation. Sources revealed that a federal grand jury is currently hearing evidence, although no charges appear imminent at this time. Both the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Combs’ lawyers have declined to comment on the situation.
CBS News reported that while Combs is a subject of the investigation, there is no indication that prosecutors are seeking an indictment from the grand jury. Legal experts note that being a subject of an investigation implies involvement within the scope of the inquiry, but does not necessarily mean charges will be brought against him.
The allegations continue to raise questions about whether Diddy will faces any criminal charges.
