For Don Toliver’s latest collab, where better to get inspiration from than his own albums?
So that’s exactly what he did. The Cactus Jack rapper partnered up with BAPE on an apparel and shoe capsule taking inspiration from his latest two albums, “Hardstone Psycho” and “Love Sick.”
The Don Toliver x BAPE clothing collection includes T-shirts, a hoodie, sweatpants, and a fur jacket, all going for a streetwear-meets-high-fashion look and nodding to his records.
Toliver keeps the collection aesthetic going with the Road Sta sneaker. He gave BAPE’s popular model a unique glossy pink look contrasted by vibrant purple details, shades seen on his “Love Sick” album.
While this launch does include Toliver’s first sneaker with BAPE, it hardly represents the first collab between the two. After his sophomore album was released, the Japanese streetwear brand teamed up with Cactus Jack to create Don Toliver x BAPE merch.
The full collection is out on November 30, and Toliver is even making a stop at New York City’s BAPE store in Soho on the drop day to meet customers. The capsule is only available in select stores and on BAPE’s website.
