Satisfy’s First Trail Sneaker Is Suspiciously Sleek

Satisfy does sleek like nobody’s business, and its TheROCKER sneaker is full-on proof.

Tech-heavy in design and appearance, TheROCKER is a slim-soled beauty with a mono-mesh upper and strategically placed lugs for traction.

But despite looking like it’s straight from the future, TheROCKER has been in the works for a while.

“TheROCKER was born from patience and hard work. When I created Satisfy in 2015, I knew I would eventually venture into the footwear game – I just didn’t know when. While we’ve reinvented the runner’s silhouette, one key element was still missing,” Brice Partouche, Satisfy founder and creative director, tells Highsnobiety.

The trail shoe game has been prime real estate within the sneaker market recently, with brands like Salomon and Saucony cashing in on the enduring charm of a beautifully lugged-up sneaker.

In the past, Satisfy has worked with existing trail sneaker giants, fusing its streamlined design ethos with the established clout of performance-wear heavy-hitters. That’s how we get hits like the Satisfy x HOKA Mafate Speed 4 Lite STSFY.

For Satisfy’s solo trail sneaker, though, making sure TheROCKER would bring something fluid yet distinctive to the current sneaker milieu was paramount.

“Two years ago, I felt ready to begin developing SATISFY’s first trail shoe. I had a clear vision of the shoe’s purpose, a strong perspective on the current state of the industry, and a team of professional athletes eager to wear-test the product,” says Partouche.

The results? A sneaker that sits perfectly at the intersection of durability and aerodynamic design.
