It’s a big year for Nike Killshot fans. The club’s favorite model starred in 2024’s hottest and best-dressed film, Challengers. Now, the sneaker is out here in looking its best yet, thanks to an incredibly stylish makeover by Nike.
Let me be clear: the Nike Killshot sequel looks good in its regular premium leather and suede outfits (its Wales Bonner-coded builds, too). However, the latest iteration of the court shoe is extremely good-looking.
Walk with me momentarily as we dive into this delicious new Nike Killshot 2 sneaker.
To start, smooth black leather covers the Killshot 2’s upper, resulting in a sleek sea of matte textures joined by equally tasteful contrast white stitching.
Honestly, the Nike sneaker is almost like a mashup of Bode’s Astro Grabber sneakers and Travis Scott’s “Black Phantom” Jordan 1 Lows. I even sense some Nike Field General vibes in the sneaker as well (sans Union LA).
If the three Nike sneakers ever merged together, I’m almost sure the end result would look strikingly close to this handsome Killshot 2 sneaker.
Nike’s all-leather Killshot rounds off with some signature touches, like its standard low-profile collar and slightly platformed sole. And finally, quiet branding moments close out the shoe, offering up understated reminders of the Swooshes presence.
Nike unleashed the OG Killshot in the 1970s as a racquetball and squash shoe, and it later returned in 2009 with more of a lifestyle-oriented charm. Nike even teamed up with the king of lifestyle dressing J. Crew for the relaunch, which sold out swiftly.
The follow-up to the legendary court shoe hit the market and quickly became a sensation among Nike enthusiasts, earning a top spot on the brand’s website as one of its most highly acclaimed products.
With the shoe embracing its nicest outfit yet in the fall, the Nike Killshot 2’s run only gets better.
