DaBaby‘s “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, continues atop Billboard‘s Songs of the Summer chart, spending a third week at No. 1 on the survey (dated July 4).
The 20-position Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 6 through Sept. 5). At the end of the season, the top song of the summer will be revealed.
“Rockstar” returns to No. 1 on the July 4-dated Hot 100 for a third total week on top.
Rounding out the Songs of the Summer top five, Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” featuring BeyoncĂ©, holds at No. 2; The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” is steady at No. 3; Doja Cat’s “Say So” stays at No. 4; and Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain on Me” remains at No. 5.
One song debuts on Songs of the Summer: Surfaces’ “Sunday Best,” at No. 19. The breakthrough hit by the duo of Texans Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki places at No. 22 on the Hot 100, after reaching a No. 19 high. It also spends a fourth week in the top 10 of the Pop Songs radio airplay chart.
