Polo G has signed with UTA for worldwide representation in all areas. The Columbia Records rapper continues to be managed by Stacia Mac and is represented by attorney Adam Zia.
“Less than a year after the release of [debut studio album] Die a Legend, Polo G has already become one of the most acclaimed and influential recording artists in the hip-hop community,” says UTA agent Chris Jordan. “His powerful lyrics and authentic message have resonated with critics and fans alike, and we are looking forward to helping him expand his empire.”
Adds Polo G, “I poured my heart and soul into [second album] The Goat, and I am thrilled to see that the album is connecting with listeners. Working with UTA will give me new opportunities to reach even wider audiences and continue to tell my story through my music.”
The Goat, released on May 15, reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album includes the RIAA gold-certified single “Go Stupid” featuring Stunna 4 Vegas, NLE Choppa, and Mike WiLL Made-It and Polo G’s newest single “DND.” The Chicago native released first album Die a Legend in 2019. The RIAA gold-certified set peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Both albums landed at No. 2 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Die a Legend also scored No. 1 on Top Rap Albums with The Goat hitting No. 2 on that chart.
Die a Legend includes the singles “Finer Things,” “Effortless” and Polo G’s highest-charting to date, “Pop Out” featuring Lil Tjay. The track peaked at No. 11 on the Hot 100 and has since been certified four times platinum by the RIAA. “Pop Out” also claimed No. 7 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. In total, Polo G’s songs have registered 2.55 billion on-demand U.S. streams, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
