Kehlani debuts at No. 1 on Billboard‘s R&B Songwriters chart (dated May 23), thanks to 12 songwriting credits on the latest Hot R&B Songs chart from her new albumĀ It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.
The set arrives at No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 83,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
“Can I,” featuring Tory Lanez, which Kehlani co-wrote with Lanez, Pop Wansel, Jake One, Daniel Klein, Matthew Campfield, Jazze Pha, Kevin Hicks, Bryan-Michael Cox and Johnta Austin, leads her dozen Hot R&B Songs titles at No. 4 (tying her best career rank). It concurrently debuts at No. 50 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
