Post Malone is adding his own stamp to the saying, “rosé all day.” The singer announced on Wednesday (May 13) that he is launching his own French rosé wine called Maison No. 9.
Inspired by Posty’s love of the Mediterranean lifestyle and rosé, the “Circles” singer and his team (Global Brand Equities’ James Morrissey and music manager Dre London) spent free time in 2019 traveling to Provence, where they worked with winemaker Alexis Cornu to try grape varietals and sample blends.
The result? An affordable yet delicious rosé named after Post’s favorite tarot card, the Nine of Swords, which represents overcoming the daily challenges we all face. According to the notes list, the “inviting aromas of freshly picked fruit, such as ripe pineapple, pear and strawberry, meet hints of sweet French desserts once uncorked. The clean, dry, crisp finish is balanced and round with a texture that is mouthwatering and savory, perfect for drinking on its own or with a variety of dishes.”
“Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy,” he said in a statement. “It’s a nice switch up and I have been thinking about doing my own wine for a while. It was great to work with Global Brand Equities because they saw the vision and we got to do some super cool stuff. Maison No. 9 goes down smooth, and you’re all going to love it!”
Maison No. 9 will launch online and in stores in June. A pre-sale of the bottle, plus Maison No. 9 limited edition merch will be available online ahead of release, with email sign up now on the website.
