Travis Scott and Kid Cudi‘s new song “The Scotts” is already breaking streaming records. The track, which debuted during Scott’s Astronomical Fortnite concert, entered the global Spotify chart at #1 with 7.45 million streams.
“The Scotts” has actually broken two major records: Not only did it overtake Billie Eilish’s “No Time to Die” to land the biggest global Spotify streaming debut of the year, but 12.3 million concurrent players also participated in the in-game concert, breaking Fornite‘s record.
Scott dropped the track near the end of his in-game performance, accompanied by an over-the-top visual of the rapper blazing through space. Fans didn’t have to wait long for the song to officially release; following its Fortnite premier, the track quickly appeared on all major streaming services, with remarkable cover art designed by none other than KAWS.
