Burna Boy performed two songs during the One World: Together at Home special on Saturday (April 18) while bringing attention to some of the measures that African citizens are taking to protect themselves and their community amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wearing a dark gray top and slacks, the Nigerian singer-songwriter performed his songs “African Giant” and “Hallelujah” as imagery with examples of relief efforts and preventative measures appeared on the screen. Citizens were seen being tested with infrared thermometers, employing sanitation methods in public spaces, and setting up emergency food markets.
