"Toosie Slide" extends Drake's record with eight leaders on the chart, compared to Justin Bieber's four.
Drake’s “Toosie Slide” debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart dated April 18, giving him twice as many leaders as his closest competition over the tally’s seven-year history.
“Toosie Slide” bows with 55.5 million U.S. streams in its first week (ending April 9), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Drake now has eight No. 1s on Streaming Songs, which began in 2013. The next-closest act? Justin Bieber, with four leaders.

Of Drake’s eight rulers, seven have led with him as the lead artist; only Rihanna’s “Work” added to his tally via a featured credit. Each of Drake’s No. 1s have also reigned in the last four years; “Work,” his first leader, ruled for eight weeks beginning in March 2016.
“Toosie Slide” marks Drake’s fourth song to debut at No. 1 on Streaming Songs, also leading all artists. The others to do so: “God’s Plan” (February 2018), “Nice for What” (April 2018) and “Nonstop” (July 2018).
