Diddy held a fundraiser on Instagram live last night, as a number of celebrity guests called in to participate in a dance-a-thon, including ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. Diddy and J. Lo famously dated for roughly two and a half years in the late ’90s and early ’00s.
Joined by new boo Alex Rodriguez, J. Lo tuned in to participate in a virtual dance-off with Diddy. The two showed off their moves to Elvis Crispo’s Latin jam, “Suavemente,” while A-Rod cheered in the background. At one point during the livestream, Lopez called out Diddy for stealing her moves. “I probably taught you that,” she said.
Also during her time on the broadcast, J. Lo made it a point to tell her former flame about Rodriguez’s affinity for ’90s-era Bad Boy Records, especially collaborations between Diddy and Mase.
“Puffy, you have to know this, because I don’t think you know this. This guy right here is your biggest fan from the Bad Boy era,” she revealed. “Any party we do, anything it’s like, ‘Put up Puffy and Mase.’”
“I appreciate the love, A-Rod,” Diddy responded, then queuing up his “Been Around the World” remix with Mase, to which Rodriguez cheered.
Other celebrities to call in to Diddy’s IG Live session included LeBron James, Drake, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, and Shaq, among others. The dance-a-thon raised money for Team Love and Direct Relief, ultimately aiding coronavirus efforts.
