Brooklyn rapper Nick Blixky has passed away following a shooting in New York City on Sunday, NBC reports. He was 21 years old.
The rising artist, real name Nickalus Thompson, was found at 9:30 pm in Prospect Lefferts Gardens with multiple gunshot wounds in his torso and buttocks. He was transported to NYT Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing. At the time of writing, no arrests have been made.
His first tape Different Timin was scheduled to drop next month on June 3.
