Rod Wave Charts Eight Songs From 'Pray 4 Love' Album on Hot 100

The set starts at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

As Rod Wave celebrates the debut of his new sophomore LP Pray 4 Love, which opens at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (dated April 18) with 72,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the rapper-singer also sports nine songs on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Eight of the nine songs are on Pray 4 Love and debut on the Hot 100, while his breakthrough single, “Heart On Ice,” rises to a new peak at No. 25. The track is on both Rod Wave’s 2019 mixtape PTSD and 2019 debut studio album Ghetto Gospel, which reached No. 10 on the Billboard 200 in November.

With nine songs appearing on the Hot 100 this year, Rod Wave is one of 10 artists with at least that many. Lil Uzi Vert leads with 34 entries so far in 2020.
