Guess what, Ye, has revealed plans to release his upcoming album WW3. Guess what else? Well, the big announcement comes amid several reports he is separated from wife, Bianca Censori. Both revelations do not come as a surprise tbh.
The project follows the recent independent release of his 11th studio album, Bully. Not a bad project but kind of fell on deaf ears. Like, no one (who’s anyone) was talking about it in the social spheres.
Ye shared the handwritten tracklist for WW3 on social media, featuring provocative song titles such as “Heil Hitler,” “Free Diddy,” and “Virgil Let Me Down.”
Lost us at Hitler, then really lost us at Diddy. TF, Ye.
Oh but wait, back to his wife. One notable track, “Bianca,” appears to address the state of his marriage, with lyrics reflecting on the impact of his social media activity. The song includes the line: “She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way that I tweeted.” The production blends soulful samples with unconventional vocal delivery, conveying emotional vulnerability.
Panic attack? Wouldn’t anyone after reading some of that vitriol he’s been rage tweeting?
The 11-track album features only one guest artist, Dave Blunts, an emerging rapper whom Ye has called his “favorite rapper.” Blunts gained recognition for his openness about health struggles and his viral track “The Cup.”
Good luck, Dave.
ICYMI, speculation about Ye and Censori’s relationship has intensified in recent weeks. Though their representative, Milo Yiannopoulos, previously denied divorce rumors, tensions appear to surface in Ye’s music. On “Bianca,” he references tracking Censori’s location through an app, hinting at underlying strain in their marriage.
Another day, another Ye, crisis.
