Timberland’s nonnative Collab Isn’t as Biege as It Looks

Brand: nonnative x Timberland

Model: Field Boots

Release Date: August 26

Price: TBC

Buy: nonnative, Timberland & KITH Tokyo

Editor’s Notes: Timberland’s nonnative Field Boots are the real deal. Sure, to the untrained eye they might look like another chunky hiking silhouette, but scratch beneath its suede leather and Cordura surface and you’ll soon find that the shoe’s specifications go much deeper.

Take its TimberDry™ membrane, for instance, a proprietary Timberland fabric that’s not only waterproof, but durable too. Underfoot sits a chunky two-layered midsole beneath the multi-faceted upper that’s rounded out with a padded leather ankle support.

As if that wasn’t enough to whet your Timberland x nonnative lips, the Field Boots are rounded out with matte silver eyelets (which is always a nice touch on a beige shoe, IMO), and co-branded hangtag that bears each brand’s motif on each side respectively.

What Timberland doesn’t know about crafting protective hiking boots isn’t worth knowing. But when you mix their expertise with nonnative, a Japanese brand renowned for its ability to design elevated everyday garments, you know you’re on to a winner.
