Whatcha Got There, Bode & Nike?

Highsnobiety aims to provide our readers with the latest updates in the sneaker world. However, we cannot verify the reliability of any unauthorized leaks or rumors unless this information is provided directly by the brands themselves.

Allegedly, Bode and Nike are for a collabo together.

According to rumors, the two are set to release a joint apparel and footwear collection. Talks suggest we could see the collaborative offering drop later this year or early 2024.

Regarding the footwear, the two will reportedly tackle Nike’s Astro Grabber, a 70s foot shoe equipped with a waffle sole designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman and famously worn by former NFL quarterback Dan Fotus.

Honestly, the Astro Grabbers are a perfect fit for Emily Adams Bode Aujla’s Bode label, whose known to dabble in vintage finds and materials as the basis for its handcrafted menswear and now womenswear.

It’s also worth mentioning Bode’s spin on the model would mark the first re-release of the Astro Grabbers ever — if the rumors prove to be accurate, that is.

As far as apparel goes, there aren’t specifics to go by now. But I suspect we’ll see sportswear silhouettes meet Bode touches like patchwork, crochet, and the use of antique fabrics.

While we await imagery and official confirmation from Nike and Bode, we’ll be sifting through Bode’s past workwear and playful pieces as seen on Ryan Reynolds and Kendrick Lamar — just to fantasize about what may come.
