TMZ Enters Hip Hop Media, Launches ‘TMZ Hip Hop’ Show On Fox Soul

Media giant TMZ launches a brand new hip hop extension in the new show “TMZ Hip Hop,” which debuted on Fox Soul Monday (April 11).

Announced last Sunday (April 10), the daily show will spotlight the culture of hip hop and deliver fresh takes on the hottest stories and biggest artists in the genre with a roundtable of hosts. “TMZ Hip Hop” is hosted by veteran radio personality DJ Hed (Real 92.3) and co-hosts Amber Diamond Erby, Cynthia Luciette, Rodney Rikai and Tonio Skits. The TMZ show, which will be accompanied by an adjacent website, is produced by first-time producer and veteran hip hop news editor, Trent Clark (Hip Hop DX).

“Welcome to the new era of #EICTC — Producer of @tmz_tv Hip Hop alongside the unfucwitable cast of @amberdiamond_ @cynthialuciette @djhed @rodneyrikai @tonioskits,” wrote Clark in an Instagram caption with photos of him and cast under the TMZ Hip Hop sign. “Starting April 11, TMZ Hip Hop will be airing on @foxtv and I’ll be commanding the adjacent website. Stay tuned and tuned in. Yep.”

The cast and crew of TMZ Hip Hop have been on a nationwide press run this week. In the show’s debut episode, the cast discusses a wide variety of topics, ranging from the infamous Will Smith slap to Tory Lanez‘s ongoing legal situation with Megan Thee Stallion to T.I. being booed at NYC comedy show.
