If you have been tuned into Love and HipHop Atlanta recently, then you need no explanation as to why Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels are deciding to call it quits. The couple has been going back and forth on social media prior to the season’s start.
Love and HipHop fans have been attacking Safaree after clips of his parenting weren’t necessarily appropriate. During one scene, the couple’s daughter, Safire, fell in Safaree’s studio, and instead of being met with the hands of her father to help her up, Safaree would laugh and look at his daughter cry. As Erica picks up their daughter she yells for Safaree to pick up Safire rather than laugh, to which Safaree later alludes that the clips of the episodes are often edited to make him look bad.
“And y’all LHH editors ain’t sh*t. We told y’all not to air my baby falling and y’all still used it. Had us reshoot a whole bunch of b****** and y’all still used that. Y’all don’t have no respect, because that was not my response of me finding out I was having a boy!”
“That was tacky and tasteless!! It’s definitely about to be a wrap on my time with y’all. Y’all be wanting too much of ppl time to be doin dat type of wack sh*t!! We filmed a hr long convo for that scene and y’all chop it to 3 mins and use that and make it a focal point. Weak.”
Whelp it seems as though Safaree is not the only one ready to move on. This week, Erica Mena posted to her Twitter account saying. “On everything I lve this is my last heart break in life!!!!!” “B*tch Im 33 this is about to be one EPIC bounce back,” the Love and HipHop start wrote.

Many are in support of Erica’s tweet and encourage the L&HH star to reclaim her happiness!
