“The Malice in the Palace” Explored in Episode 1 of Netflix’s ‘Untold’

The Malice in the Palace is the biggest and most discussed fight in the history of the NBA. The moment will now be highlighted in the new docuseries, Untold, which will be on Netflix.

Untold will dive into the brawl inside The Palace in Auburn Hills, which featured the Detroit Pistons, the Indiana Pacers, and the viewing fans on Friday, November 19, 2004.

The brawl began after an on-court fight between Ben Wallace and Ron Artest, leading to the latter being hit with a soda from a fan in the stands, he would go after a fan who he thought was the one who threw it. After charging the man, a brawl stretched across the arena, leading to all types of debris being thrown while mini fights continued to break out.
