DaBaby's 'Rockstar' Continues Atop Songs of the Summer Chart, Saint Jhn's 'Roses' Blooms in Top Five

"Rockstar" rules for an eighth week.

DaBaby‘s “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, furthers its hold atop Billboard‘s Songs of the Summer chart, logging an eighth week at No. 1 on the ranking (dated Aug. 8).

The 20-position Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 6 through Sept. 5). At the end of the season, the top song of the summer will be revealed.

“Rockstar” has ruled the weekly Hot 100 for seven weeks, this week dipping to No. 2 as Taylor Swift’s “Cardigan” launches in the top spot.

The next three titles on Songs of the Summer also hold in place: The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” (No. 2), Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” featuring BeyoncĂ© (No. 3), and Jack Harlow’s “Whats Poppin,” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne (No. 4).

Rounding out the Songs of the Summer top five, Saint Jhn‘s “Roses” ascends 6-5, reaching the tier for the first time (and has risen from No. 14 on the initial tally of the season). The track, powered most heavily by its Imanbek remix, has hit No. 4 on the Hot 100, this week ranking at No. 8, and dominates the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for a 14th frame.
