Travis Scott & Chase B Tease New Album, Premiere Big Sean, Young Thug & More Collaborations

Travis Scott is making 2020 his year. On the latest installment of his .WAV Radio show on Monday (July 20), he and Cactus Jack teammate Chase B teased a new collab album called Escapism, and had a slew of fiery song premieres ready for their fans.

To kick things off, the energetic duo unveiled not one but two Big Sean collaborations, “Zen” and “Lithuania.”

“That’s the Big Sean everybody love,” Scott noted of Sean’s characteristically clever lyrics and infectious hooks.

But he and Chase B were hardly done rolling out new music. Next up, the duo dropped “Cafeteria” with Chase B and Don Toliver and “White Tee” with Young Thug.

Young Thug also lent a verse to the dynamic “MAYDAY,” which features Sheck Wes.

.WAV Radio wrapped with a few more A-list collabs, including “Picky” with Nav and Wheezy, “The Parables” with YBN Cordae and “Scrooge” with Swae Lee.

Amid all the excitement over the new songs, Scott and Chase took some time to address the ongoing pandemic, and encouraged his fans to stay safe. “”Let me tap in right now, okay? This is a public service announcement,” he exclaimed, before continuing, “Make sure y’all got the good echos on that thing right there. COVID-19 in the H. Listen here, my fellow Houstonians. We have to lock in and we got to protect ourselves, y’all, because it’s going up, man.”

“I got a call from Miss Linda Hidalgo and she was just explaining to me that at the rate we going, it can get into the super red and it can be very immediate for us,” he continued. “If we don’t kind of get more control of how we moving around and things like that, it can be another breakout and we’d have to slow the city down so – We don’t need that right now. We need everybody to try to practice as much as they can. You know what I mean? Social distancing, whether y’all got to get on FaceTime or even if y’all got to come to each other’s houses, try to just keep it day one squad or whatever it is.”

No info yet as to when fans can expect Escapism. Listen to the episode in full (with the premieres beginning around the 1:30:00 mark) on Apple Music here.
