Pusha T Fires Shots at Drake in Unreleased Pop Smoke Song

A song featuring Young Thug, Gunna, and Pusha T called “Paranoid,” in which Pusha appears to diss Drake, was reportedly left off Pop Smoke’s album.

Pop’s posthumous album Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon dropped last week, and while it was praised by fans, some people noticed a track was missing from the project. According to a report by Hip-Hop Lately, Pusha was planned to be featured on the record with a track called “Paranoid.”

The publication cites a Youtube video claiming to be the leaked song, as well as some lyrics to the song that were published on Genius. On the verse, Pusha appears to take aim at his longtime foe by taking digs at Drake’s patois and his hometown of Toronto – by sneak-dissing its neighboring city, Mississauga.

“Those empty threats only sound good on your records / If the patois is not followed by blocka / It’s like marked for death Screwface, without the choppa / Let ’em rush the stage when you made like Sinatra / Only to find the blade, flyin’ back through LaGuardia / I might even buy a home out in Mississauga,” he raps.

When fans hit up Pop’s label manager, Steven Victor’s page, he confirmed that Thugger and Gunna were actually supposed to be featured on the album, but unfortunately, there was a glitch. He assured fans that they would be fixing the glitch ASAP, meaning Thugger and Gunna should be showing up on Shoot For The Stars in no time, however, no word on what will happen with Pusha’s verse.
