Kash Doll’s ‘Ice Me Out’ Becomes Latest Top Triller U.S. No. 1 Song

The newly created chart has had three No. 1s in three weeks.

Kash Doll’s “Ice Me Out” becomes the third different No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Triller U.S. chart in its three weeks of existence, debuting atop the tally dated Aug. 1.

The Top Triller U.S. and Top Triller Global charts highlight the biggest songs on Triller based on a formula blending the amount of views of videos containing a respective songs, the level of engagement with those videos and the raw total of videos uploaded featuring each song, according to Triller. Data for the charts is represented on a Friday-Thursday tracking week, with the latest period running July 17-23.

“Ice Me Out” was originally released by the Detroit rapper on Aug. 23, 2018. However, the song has found new legs in recent months after gaining steam on user-generated-upload apps such as Triller. For comparison’s sake, outside of the Triller platform, the song garnered 567,000 U.S. on-demand streams on Nielsen Music/MRC Data-tracked DSPs in the tracking week running Dec. 27, 2019, to Jan. 2, 2020. The song’s stream count outside the platform has since surged to 774,000 streams in the tracking week July 17-23.

The top video on Triller for the week, posted by user montereyybay on July 16 as part of the #icemeoutchallenge, has garnered 1.1 million global plays on Triller at press time.

“Ice Me Out” is followed by Rod Wave’s new single “Rags2Riches,” featuring ATR Son Son, which debuts at No. 2 on Top Triller U.S. while concurrently reaching a new peak, No. 41, on the Billboard Hot 100 dated Aug. 1. Saweetie’s “Tap In,” Tiwa Savage’s “Dangerous Love” and DJ Khaled’s “Popstar,” featuring Drake, round out the top five.

Meanwhile, the Top Triller Global chart remains a playground for Armaan Malik’s “Next 2 Me,” which rules the list for a third straight week. Top Triller U.S. No. 1 “Ice Me Out” also appears there, debuting at No. 7.
