DaBaby's 'Rockstar' Tops Songs of the Summer Chart For 7th Week, Jack Harlow Jumps, Dua Lipa Debuts

DaBaby‘s “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, continues its hot-weather hold atop Billboard‘s Songs of the Summer chart, posting a seventh week at No. 1 on the ranking (dated Aug. 1).

The 20-position Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 6 through Sept. 5). At the end of the season, the top song of the summer will be revealed.

“Rockstar” rules the Aug. 1-dated Hot 100 for a likewise seventh total week on top.

Elsewhere on Songs of the Summer, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” rises 3-2, swapping spots with Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” featuring BeyoncĂ© (2-3), while Jack Harlow‘s “Whats Poppin,” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne, jumps into the summery summary’s top five (7-4), as it rebounds to its No. 2 high on the Hot 100.

Plus, Dua Lipa‘s “Break My Heart” enters Songs of the Summer at No. 20, as it returns to its No. 17 best on the Hot 100. The single, which ascends to No. 1 on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart, joins Lipa’s prior hit “Don’t Start Now,” at No. 10 on Songs of the Summer.
