Meek Mill, Lil Yachty and More React to Lil Marlo's Death

As news of rapper Lil Marlo’s death spread Sunday (July 12), artists and other music industry personalities reacted with shock on social media. The Quality Control Music artist had been shot and killed the night before while driving on the I-285 in Atlanta.

“At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” the Atlanta Police Department told Billboard.

Fellow rapper and labelmate Lil Yachty remembered the 30-year-old with a photo on Instagram. “We just did a song a 4 this morning,” he captioned the image. “smh rip brother @lilmarlo_1”

“Rip lil marlo prayers to his family!” Meek Mill tweeted.

Artist Kollision shared in an Instagram story: “Lost of words but I knew where we stood and I’ll never forget them Heart to heart convos.”
