DJ Khaled Poses With Real-Life Owl to Tease New Drake Collaboration: Watch

DJ Khaled and Drake are reuniting for another collaboration.

The Grammy-winning DJ and producer excitedly shared on social media Saturday (July 11) that Drake’s vocals have been submitted for an upcoming track, and further teased the collab by posting a video of himself alongside a real-life owl, which serves as the logo for Drizzy’s OVO Sound record label.

“VOCLAS BEEN IN,” Khaled captioned a clip of himself sitting next to an owl perched by a microphone. “DEM boy ah make POP CHUNE WE ah make CHUNE ah go POP POP PON YOUR HEAD TOP.”

Another video he posted shows an owl peering at the ocean with a beverage and pair of golden skeleton keys sitting at its feet. Both posts tag Drake’s Instagram account and include the hashtags #WETHEBEST and #OVO.

On Friday, Khaled further hinted at what’s to come in an Instagram post on The Best Music’s page, featuring an animated video of a flying owl carrying the same gold keys in its beak.

“MONDAY will lead you to INFO to when the musical Anthem keys that you been waiting for,” the caption reads.

During a recent interview on Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, Khaled revealed that he’s hard at work on his twelfth album and confirmed that Drake will be a featured guest on the forthcoming release.

“Drake is definitely on DJ Khaled’s single,” Khaled said. “And the vocals sound so incredible.”

This won’t be the first collaboration between Khaled and Drake. The two hip-hop giants came together on the track “I’m on One,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011. They also teamed up for songs like “For Free” and “Fed Up.”
