How to Watch the 'Juneteenth Social Awareness-Thon' Featuring D.L. Hughley, Snoop Dogg & More

Actor and comedian D.L. Hughley will host a virtual fundraiser on Juneteenth to help combat the spread of COVID-19 and promote a message of Black empowerment and education.

Sponsored by Master Growers, the online event will feature appearances by Snoop Dogg, Master P, TLC, Black-ish star Anthony Anderson and other celebrities. The fundraiser will stream live on Facebook beginning at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET on Friday (June 19).

The digital benefit, dubbed “Juneteenth Social Awareness-Thon,” will aim to raise money for Master Growers’ “Clean Hands for All” mission to deliver more than 1.5 million bottles of hand sanitizer to inner cities across America. In honor of the Juneteenth holiday, the live stream will also focus on Black empowerment.

“We just can’t sit on our hands and watch our communities suffer. Health and safety shouldn’t differentiate based on color or economic status. “Clean Hands For All” is the our motto, and we’re going to do our very best to hold true to that.” Master Growers founders Garnett March and Glen March MD said in a statement.
