Celebrating Mother’s Day on Sunday (May 10), Brussaux shared a video of Adonis trying on some new jeans before he called out for his father. In March, fans got their first glimpse of Drake when he first posted photos of his son on Instagram. “What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light. This will create the biggest opening of all. Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that, connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy,” he wrote endearingly.
In a May 1 interview with Lil Wayne for Young Money Radio, Drizzy opened up again about fatherhood. “It was great for me. It was great to just share that with the world,” he told Wayne. “I just felt like it wasn’t even anything I talked to anybody about or anything I planned. I just woke up one morning and was like, ‘You know what, this is just something that I want to do,'” he said.
Drake also expressed his desire to live freely despite his celebrity status. “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket,” Drake said. “I just wanted to free myself of that.”
