OnlyFans Reports 15% Spike Following Beyoncé's "Savage" Shoutout

Earlier this week, Beyoncé emerged from self-isolation to break the internet with a remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.” In the song, Bey name-dropped the adult site OnlyFans, which has seen a massive spike in traffic as a result, according to The Daily Beast.

According to a spokesperson from OnlyFans, “In less than 24 hours since Megan Thee Stallion dropped her ‘Savage’ remix featuring Beyoncé, OnlyFans has seen a 15 percent spike in traffic.”

In her quarantine-astute verse, Beyoncé references some of the popular platforms since lockdown. “Hips TikTok when I dance / On that Demon Time, she might start an OnlyFans,” she raps. OnlyFans, a platform where creators require monthly paid subscriptions from users to view their content, is popular for homemade X-rated photos and videos.

Following the shoutout, OnlyFans COO Tom Stokely spoke with The Daily Beast about his excitement. “The surprise call-out from Beyoncé on the ‘Savage’ remix was very exciting for us, to say the least,” he said. “Her stamp of approval comes on the heels of major stars joining the platform in recent weeks, including Blac Chyna, The-Dream, Safaree Samuels, and Casanova.”

OnlyFans previously shared with Rolling Stone that they would be delighted to host the superstar on their adult site. “Beyoncé, and any artist, are welcome to join OnlyFans at any time to foster a deeper connection with their fans.”
